Core Responsibilities and Outcomes:

• Oversee standard costs, valuation, and methodologies for pricing raw materials, inventory, and assembly of materials.
• Supervise inventory management, expenses, and valuation.
• Examine, report, and record inventory and material procurement and consumption.
• Support audits of inventory tallies and periodic counts.
• Assess the costs and effectiveness of organizational procurement activities concerning materials and product manufacturing.
• Evaluate expenses for inventory, labor, and material acquisitions.
• Propose cost projections and budgeting for new purchases related to raw materials and inventory.
• Assemble records on standard material expenses and organizational production costs.
• Gather and consolidate purchasing data (related to production) for evaluation purposes.
• Estimate and strategize purchasing expenses based on demand.
• Execute and finalize internal cost audits.
• Provide assistance in audits as required by the accounting department.
• Design, budget, and generate reports containing inventory and raw materials information.
• Adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Costing
• Prior experience in the Manufacturing industry is essential
• Solid organizational abilities, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
• Experience with ERP systems is necessary
• Must be adept at using Excel
