Cost Accountant / Sales Pricing Analyst
Compensation: $85,000 – $110,000 (Direct Hire or Contract-to-Hire)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical Cost Accountant with Sales Analyst expertise to join our team. This role will serve as a key extension of the Sales and Finance teams—bridging cost accounting, pricing analysis, and sales forecasting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and brings strong financial and analytical acumen to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations and proposals for new and existing products.
Lead and coordinate the budgeting process related to sales input and ensure ongoing maintenance of sales data.
Generate and distribute sales revenue, margin, and forecasting reports at global, entity, channel, and customer levels.
Analyze the financial impact of customer rebate accruals, deductions, and credits against agreements.
Manage and validate sales data, ensuring accuracy and data integrity across databases and reporting systems.
Develop and deliver sales reporting tools, dashboards, and PowerPoint presentations for executive and cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT to improve forecasting, planning, and pricing strategy.
Support strategic initiatives by producing reports used in Sales Plans, Budgeting/Forecasting, and Supply Chain/Operations Planning.
Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business needs.
Report directly to the VP of Finance while actively supporting the Business Development and Sales Teams.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or sales analysis within a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing strongly preferred).
Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI, SQL, or Power Query is a strong plus.
Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex financial and sales data with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels and with external customers.
Self-starter with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
