Job Details
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all month end closing activities including, but not limited to journal entries, supporting documentation, reconciliations, analysis, etc.
Owns all aspects of fixed asset accounting and all capital expenditure spend
Insightful analysis of results and forecasts presented to plant and executive management
Develop / Manage product line profitability statements to support profitable growth
Proactively work with department management, cross-functional teams, and lead projects for development of countermeasures and continuous improvement to achieve forecasted results
Continuous improvement of accounting processes to eliminate waste
Develop / Implement / Manage a cycle counting procedure throughout the plant
Lead the preparation, analysis, and completion of the annual physical inventory
Audit costing, bills of material, and routings for accuracy and manage quoting process for sales team
Work with Industrial Engineer to update our routing process to improve costing
Support the creation of monthly forecasts
Support the creation of annual budget and cost roll activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
BS/BA financial degree and preferred continued education (CMA, CPA, or MBA)
Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing financial role
Experience in MS Excel and strong analytical skills
