Job Details
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead efforts in analyzing and improving operational costs within our manufacturing environment. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including finance, engineering, procurement, and production—to drive cost-effective solutions, enhance reporting accuracy, and support informed decision-making across the organization.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and refine cost standards across product lines and production areas.
- Evaluate cost discrepancies between projected (standard) and actual figures; conduct in-depth root cause analysis and present findings.
- Work closely with supply chain and manufacturing teams to uncover and implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Track, interpret, and communicate key cost and efficiency metrics (KPIs) to management.
- Contribute to annual budget cycles and forecast planning through comprehensive cost insights.
- Champion operational improvement projects tied to lean practices, waste elimination, and process efficiency.
- Ensure all cost reporting adheres to internal financial controls and accounting policies.
- Deliver data-driven recommendations that influence product pricing, margin goals, and profitability assessments.
Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a cost accounting or financial operations role within a manufacturing context.
- Solid grasp of production workflows, cost structures, and inventory control.
- Hands-on experience with ERP software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics F&O) and strong proficiency in Excel.
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities and communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and support strategic business decisions.
Preferred Credentials
- CPA, CMA, or MBA credentials are advantageous.
- Background in specialized vehicle production is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and Six Sigma frameworks.
