We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Cost Analyst to join our Construction team in the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will be instrumental in conducting financial analysis, preparing annual budgets, and delivering monthly reports. This role requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be working closely with project managers and other key stakeholders to ensure financial transparency and accountability in all our construction projects.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive cost analysis on all construction projects to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.
2. Prepare and present detailed annual budgets, incorporating all aspects of construction projects, from materials and labor to overhead costs.
3. Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial reports, highlighting any significant variances, potential risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
4. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that all financial aspects of construction projects are transparent and accountable.
5. Assist in the development and implementation of cost-saving strategies and initiatives.
6. Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to identify variances and potential areas for improvement.
7. Participate in the preparation of financial forecasts, allowing for accurate budget planning and effective cost control.
8. Provide guidance on cost analysis and budgeting to project teams and stakeholders.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in cost analysis and financial management.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in cost analysis, preferably within the construction sector of the Engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in preparing annual budgets and delivering monthly financial reports.
4. Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
7. Proficient in the use of financial management software and advanced in MS Excel.
8. Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation in the construction industry.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Professional certification in Cost Engineering or Project Management is a plus.
