Job Details
Responsible for completing cost segregation studies. Works with the senior management team, sales team, and any other contacts to proficiently complete reports and successfully deal with client accounts. Responsible for gathering data about client properties, and then uses the information and technical training to complete a multi-step assessment process that will efficiently complete the cost segregation study by performing the following duties.
Work will include, but not be limited to:

Work will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide detailed cost analysis of commercial, industrial & residential building projects; perform approximately two studies a week (personally)
- Perform quantity takeoffs from construction documents and physical site inspections
- Perform physical site inspections
- Analyze construction cost data and design drawings
- Coordinate and collect information from building owners, architects, engineers and contractors
- Estimate construction costs using nationally recognized costing sources
- Assist with new client identification and cost segregation study proposals
- Project coordination with internal tax preparation team regarding project status, results, and planning opportunities
- Ensure adherence to standards established in the IRS Audit Technique Guide
- Ensure current industry technology is utilized at highest level of efficiency and effectiveness
- Other tasks as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to travel extensively (including overnight) by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle, and the like to sites that are both in and out of state
- Must be able to communicate with coworkers and clients face to face, on the phone,
- Also a sedentary position requiring extensive sitting at a desk and use of a computer while preparing reports on the site visit studies
