Job Details

You’ll be leading a lean finance team while modernizing internal controls, streamlining reporting, and supporting strategic initiatives. The right candidate is a CPA with a background in manufacturing or industrial environments and can own the accounting function from end to end.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, A/R, A/P, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with operations and executive leadership
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and compliance procedures
  • Work with external auditors and manage annual audit process
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to provide insights into financial performance
  • Evaluate accounting software and tools to support modernization efforts
  • Support long-term strategic planning with financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small accounting team

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or processing environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to analyze complex data and communicate insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
