Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day accounting functions, including GL, AR/AP, and monthly close
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure SOX-compliance readiness
  • Oversee audits, tax compliance, and external financial reporting
  • Implement systems and process improvements across accounting and reporting workflows
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to monitor costs and improve margin visibility
  • Forecast cash flow and support capital expenditure planning
  • Provide financial insights and reporting to senior leadership for strategic planning
  • Supervise and mentor a small accounting team, ensuring professional development and strong performance

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and cost accounting
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and Excel
  • Experience managing or supporting audits and tax filings
  • Ability to work on-site in Tennessee and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
