Requirements
- Lead day-to-day accounting functions, including GL, AR/AP, and monthly close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure SOX-compliance readiness
- Oversee audits, tax compliance, and external financial reporting
- Implement systems and process improvements across accounting and reporting workflows
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to monitor costs and improve margin visibility
- Forecast cash flow and support capital expenditure planning
- Provide financial insights and reporting to senior leadership for strategic planning
- Supervise and mentor a small accounting team, ensuring professional development and strong performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and cost accounting
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and Excel
- Experience managing or supporting audits and tax filings
- Ability to work on-site in Tennessee and collaborate cross-functionally
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
