Our esteemed law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Criminal Defense Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for justice, a deep understanding of criminal law, and a proven track record in defending the rights of the accused. You will be responsible for representing clients charged with various criminal offenses such as theft, DUI, assault, and other related crimes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where every day brings new and exciting cases.

- Provide expert legal support and advice to clients who are facing criminal charges.
- Develop strong defense strategies tailored to each case to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
- Represent clients in court and negotiate with prosecution to plea bargain, when necessary.
- Conduct thorough investigations to obtain pertinent information and evidence to support the defense.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as legal briefs, motions, and appeals.
- Maintain confidentiality and attorney-client privilege at all times.
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist in case preparation and court proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Criminal Defense Attorney.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
- Proven trial experience and a strong presence in the courtroom.
- Extensive knowledge of criminal law, legal procedures, and court proceedings.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Outstanding critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective defense strategies.
