Job Details
Qualifications Needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification or technical degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data center or critical facility operations
- Demonstrated experience maintaining chilled water and DX cooling systems
Strong experience with backup power systems (UPS/generators)
- Proficiency in Building Management Systems (BMS) and fire detection/alarm systems
- Experience working with CMMS systems and maintenance scheduling
- Proven ability to handle incident response and escalate effectively
- Familiarity with MOP/SOP/EOP documentation
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate and maintain MEP infrastructure according to best practices and manufacturer guidelines
- Monitor power and environment conditions in all critical areas
- Execute maintenance tasks using internal CMMS
- Support corrective maintenance planning and execution
- Escort and monitor third-party contractors to ensure compliance
- Respond to site incidents and follow MOP/EOP procedures
- Follow strict Change Control processes
- Perform routine site inspections and escalate findings
- Assist in construction and commissioning of site infrastructure
- Develop and maintain operational procedures and policies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Support uptime delivery across all critical systems
