Job Description: CRNA – Trauma Level 2 Facility
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
Start Date: As soon as credentialed – ongoing
Schedule: Flexible, can work 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts per week
Position Type: Full-time or Part-time

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at a Trauma Level 2 facility. This position offers flexible scheduling with the ability to work either 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general adult anesthesia, with experience in pediatric anesthesia, and preferences for a variety of other procedures. The CRNA will work in both hospital and ambulatory settings. Our practice is medically directed, with a supportive core group of anesthesiologists and CRNAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general adult anesthesia for a range of cases including complex procedures.
  • General pediatric anesthesia experience preferred, with a focus on flexibility for pediatric cases when required.
  • Perform spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia techniques (preferred).
  • Assist in obstetrical anesthesia cases (preferred).
  • Provide anesthesia for neurosurgical cases (preferred).
  • Perform open heart anesthesia (preferred).
  • Provide anesthesia for complex vascular and orthopedic surgeries (preferred).
  • Utilize pain management techniques as necessary.
  • Participate in minimal and flexible beeper call (as needed).
  • Collaborate with the core group of CRNAs and anesthesiologists to ensure high-quality care for all patients.

Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) Certification

Licensing Requirements:
Must be MN licensed or eligible through IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).

Schedule Details:

  • Flexible scheduling options available: work either 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts per week.
  • Part-time or full-time availability accepted.
  • Minimal beeper call, with a flexible schedule to accommodate personal needs.
  • Opportunity to work at both hospital and ambulatory locations.

  • Medically directed practice, working closely with a team of anesthesiologists.
  • The facility provides a supportive environment, with both pediatric and high-paced experience preferred.
