Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Locum Tenens CRNA, your key duties and responsibilities will include:

1. Providing preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative anesthesia care to patients of all ages.
2. Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiology nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
3. Monitoring patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures to ensure patient safety.
4. Responding promptly and effectively to any anesthesia-related emergencies or complications.
5. Educating patients and their families about the anesthesia process, potential risks and complications, and postoperative pain management.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of advancements in anesthesiology and participating in ongoing professional development activities.
7. Adhering to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations related to anesthesia care.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Locum Tenens CRNA position, you must meet the following qualifications:

2. Successful completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
3. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
4. Valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information in understandable terms.
7. Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other medical software.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
9. Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Facility Details:
  • 5 ORs | L2 Trauma | Level 1 NICU
  • 3 OR starts 7 am to 3 pm; 2 rooms to 5 pm
  • General, OB, ENT, GI, uro, vascular | OB
  • Backup call
