Our rapidly growing engineering firm is seeking a highly skilled, innovative, and dedicated Cryogenic Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent position and an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to apply their knowledge in the field of cryogenics, particularly in the hydrogen and alternative energy sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving cryogenic systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and innovation. This position will offer the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and make significant contributions to our ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and optimize cryogenic systems and processes, with a focus on hydrogen and alternative energy applications.
2. Conduct research and analysis to develop new and improved cryogenic techniques.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of cryogenic systems with other processes.
4. Perform thermal and structural analysis of cryogenic components and systems.
5. Ensure all cryogenic systems meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cryogenic operations.
7. Develop and implement maintenance and inspection procedures for cryogenic systems.
8. Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of cryogenics and integrate them into our projects.
9. Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
10. Prepare technical reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Cryogenic Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in hydrogen and alternative energy applications.
4. Strong understanding of cryogenic systems, materials, and safety protocols.
5. Proficiency in using computer software for design and simulation, such as CAD and CFD.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. A professional engineering (PE) license is a plus.
