Job Details:

We are on the hunt for a dedicated and passionate Permanent CT Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that require sound judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. As a Permanent CT Tech, you will be pivotal in providing top-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our medical team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be expected to showcase your technical skills, patient interaction abilities, and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with established protocols.
• Efficiently manage the workflow within the CT department to ensure timely patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while performing scans.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide patient education regarding the CT procedure to alleviate patient anxiety.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new protocols and procedures within the CT department.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the field of CT technology.
• Comply with all radiation safety guidelines to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• 2+ years of experience as a CT Tech, Mammography Tech, or equivalent role.
• Proficient in performing a variety of CT procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain CT equipment.
• Knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and procedures.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• BLS certification is a plus.
