Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Operating CT scanning equipment to produce images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
2. Collaborating with radiologists to determine the appropriate scan parameters.
3. Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, explaining the process, and answering any questions.
4. Assisting with patient positioning and immobilization on the scanning platform.
5. Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
6. Performing routine maintenance on CT equipment to ensure operational readiness.
7. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
8. Adhering to all safety and health regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of advancements in CT technology.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent CT Tech position will have the following qualifications:
1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
2. Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist with CT endorsement.
3. A minimum of 1+ years of experience in CT scanning and medical imaging.
4. Proficiency in patient care and image processing.
5. Strong knowledge and experience in diagnostic imaging.
6. Exceptional patient care skills with a focus on providing a comfortable and safe patient experience.
7. Excellent technical skills with the ability to operate and maintain CT scanning equipment.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
11. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
