We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Permanent Culinary Assurance Supervisor, 2nd Shift in the Accounting + Finance industry. This unique position offers a compelling blend of culinary expertise and financial acumen, making it an ideal opportunity for those with a passion for both food and finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality and safety of food products, ensuring compliance with USDA standards, and conducting regular inspections. This role is a permanent, second shift position that requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of food quality and safety in accordance with USDA and Q&FS standards.
2. Conduct regular food inspections to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
3. Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure the highest level of food safety.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and implementation of quality assurance measures.
5. Train and mentor staff on food safety protocols, quality assurance measures, and inspection procedures.
6. Analyze and report on quality assurance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
7. Ensure all financial aspects of the culinary department are managed effectively, with a focus on cost control and budgeting.
8. Stay updated on the latest food safety regulations and industry trends, ensuring the company remains compliant and competitive.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of USDA, Q&FS, and food inspection standards and procedures.
3. A strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance measures.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to train and mentor staff.
5. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost control.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
8. A degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Finance, Accounting, or a related field would be advantageous.
