We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Data Analyst to join our team in the logistics industry. Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Data Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.
2. Developing, validating, and executing algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions.
3. Exploring and examining data from a variety of angles to determine hidden weaknesses, trends, and/or opportunities.
4. Communicating data findings through engaging reports and visualizations for business stakeholders.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
6. Developing processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
7. Utilizing SQL and Databricks for exploratory data analysis, data processing, and data modeling.
8. Driving the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably in the technology industry.
3. Proficiency in SQL and experience with Databricks.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Experience in data mining and statistical analysis.
6. Proven ability to drive business results with data-based insights.
7. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
9. A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
10. Experience with machine learning techniques and advanced analytics is a plus.
