As a DCO Asset Control Specialist, you’ll be part of a world-class team operating at the forefront of AI, cloud, and enterprise data center environments. You’ll ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of critical infrastructure asset tracking—supporting operational excellence across some of the world’s most advanced facilities.
This position plays a key role in the lifecycle management of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, UPS, and generator systems, ensuring that all assets are documented, maintained, and aligned with industry and regulatory standards.

This position plays a key role in the lifecycle management of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, UPS, and generator systems, ensuring that all assets are documented, maintained, and aligned with industry and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and detailed asset records for all critical infrastructure equipment.
- Administer and update the CMMS/asset management platform with current data on specifications, warranties, and service contracts.
- Oversee asset tagging, labeling, and inventory processes for data center equipment.
- Support documentation for commissioning, operational use, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Generate reports and analyses on asset utilization, lifecycle status, and cost tracking.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, OSHA, Uptime Institute).
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on asset acquisition and disposal tracking.
- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and operations to ensure data accuracy and configuration control.
- Identify opportunities to improve asset management processes, tools, and reporting systems.
- Support internal and external audits with timely asset documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in facilities operations, asset management, or equipment control (mission-critical/data center environment preferred).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, UPS, and generator systems.
- Proficiency with CMMS, DCIM, or asset management software.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to create and interpret reports and audits.
- Knowledge of safety standards, OSHA requirements, and documentation practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams (procurement, finance, compliance).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and CAD drawings is a plus.
