Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure and maintain 100% uptime of critical systems.
  • Train as a First Responder to infrastructure alarms.
  • Complete work orders accurately and on time.
  • Safely operate and handle tools and equipment.
  • Support vendors/contractors and verify work meets standards.
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and grounds for unsafe/malfunctioning conditions.
  • Perform collateral duties as assigned.
  • Attend required meetings and training.
  • Maintain professional appearance and represent company values.
  • Drive innovation in data center systems operations.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time work experience in a technical/related field.
  • Some knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems found in data centers, such as: Electrical feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, DC power systems, ATS/STS, PDU units, breakers, batteries, load banks.
  • Cooling systems: CRACs, AHUs, fluid coolers, pumps.
  • Fire suppression systems.
  • Knowledge of data center safety, electrical, and cooling designs.
  • Ability to work any shift in a 24x7x365 environment, including weekends and holidays.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic typing, email, and computer skills.
  • Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus Technical Trade School in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Outlook Fundamentals.
  • OSHA 10.
  • Material Equipment Operator (MEO).
  • First Aid/CPR.
  • NFPA-70E (Arc Flash).
  • Golf Cart certified.
  • Data Center University coursework.
  • Building Fire Riser & Fire Extinguisher training.
