## Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data ingestion processes that bring together information from multiple sources and formats.
- Build, improve, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to transform, validate, and organize large datasets.
- Support data storage and processing systems designed to handle structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and maintain vector embedding generation pipelines that support AI-powered search, retrieval, and analysis.
- Help optimize data workflows for reliability, scalability, performance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with software engineers and machine learning engineers to prepare data for AI models, applications, and automated workflows.
- Troubleshoot data quality issues, pipeline failures, and performance bottlenecks.
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to testing, documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Explore graph-based data structures and technologies used to connect complex relationships across healthcare datasets.
## Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python or another programming language, with the ability to write and troubleshoot code.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of data structures, data processing, and database fundamentals.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines
