## Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. This individual will work with large datasets, integrate information from multiple sources, and ensure data is accurate, accessible, and reliable. ## Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Develop and optimize data models, database structures, and data integration workflows.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into centralized data platforms.
- Monitor data quality, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and improve system performance.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases to support business and analytical needs.
- Collaborate with data analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Support cloud-based data infrastructure and data warehousing solutions.
- Implement data validation, security, and governance best practices.
- Document data architecture, processes, and technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve data processing efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
## Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing data pipelines and managing data integration processes.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or another programming language.
- Familiarity with relational databases, data warehouses, and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools, workflow orchestration, and data processing frameworks.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
