Job Details
Currently seeking a DDC/BAS Controls Specialist in South Central California. This role is responsible for performing successful design, startup, commissioning, and service of HVAC Direct Digital Controls projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop building automation systems.
- Review and interpret plans and drawings to start up and commission HVAC Direct Digital Controls for mechanical, chilled water, and air systems.
- Utilize and understand key software tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Windows, Visio, QuickBooks, AutoCAD, SiteBuilder, and Eikon.
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows-based operating systems, Ethernet networks, internet-based systems, and HVAC DDC I/O instruments and devices.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with DDC systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Implement operational sequences and programming logic into control logic software.
- Identify and debug issues in software and electrical installations.
- Adjust and fine-tune control algorithms (PID’s) for precise system performance.
- Modify and update HVAC DDC system graphics, setpoints, addressing points, and drawings.
- Investigate and address customer concerns to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Place and track orders for products and equipment using office software tools.
- Coordinate with external system specialists to ensure successful project completion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, OR five or more years of like experience will be required.
- Must possess intermediate or higher knowledge of HVAC, Windows based systems, and Direct Digital Controls.
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, Automated Logic, or other
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to be a team player.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
