We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This role is a critical leadership position, responsible for overseeing all aspects of deep foundation projects, including project management, quality control, budget management, contract negotiation, blueprint reading, and site management. Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deep Foundations Superintendent to join our team. As a leader in the construction industry, we specialize in deep foundation projects. This critical role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our deep foundation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, quality control, budget management, contract negotiation, blueprint reading, site management, problem solving, construction management, safety compliance, team leadership, communication, auger drilling, heavy civil, augercast, civil, and deep foundations.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of deep foundation construction projects from planning to implementation.
2. Allocate resources for assigned projects.
3. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
4. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
5. Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
6. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
7. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
8. Conduct quality control and safety inspections on all projects.
9. Manage project budget and ensure all work is completed within the budget.
10. Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
11. Lead and manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
12. Solve any problems that may arise during construction.
13. Ensure all work is compliant with safety regulations and guidelines.
14. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and contractors.
15. Operate heavy machinery, such as auger drilling equipment, as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on deep foundations.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing deep foundation construction projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and industry best practices.
4. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
5. Exceptional project management and budget management skills.
6. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful contract negotiation.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
8. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and manage a team.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Knowledge of safety compliance and regulations in the construction industry.
11. Experience with auger drilling and heavy civil construction.
12. Familiarity with augercast and civil construction methods.
13. Ability to operate heavy machinery.
14. A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
15. Certifications in safety management and construction management are a plus.
