Job Details

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Facilitates the collaborative design of a DEI Action Plan with client leadership teams
  • Work with the DEI practice team on client projects, including assessments and research in the area of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Studies
  • Support leadership development strategy, empower our leaders in the DEI journey, coach and mentor hiring managers, human resources and senior leadership on diversity,
equity and inclusion trends
  • Maintain current industry knowledge to remain up to date on current best practices and legal developments to continually enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
  • Collect and interpret qualitative data from multiple sources and in various formats
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets patterns in policies or qualitative data; prepares clear and meaningful analyses and develops recommendations
  • Oversee community engagement events for clients (onsite and remote), including presentations to community groups, facilitating community conversations, or developing
relationships with community advocates
  • Design and conduct qualitative research (such as workshops, discussion groups, trainings, focus groups and personal interviews) and analyzes the collected data
  • Design and facilitate DEI training sessions both in-person and virtually to client stakeholders
  • Creatively engage our clients' communities to inform people of our work and empower people to authentically engage
  • Communicates and counsels regularly with clients, either in person, by email, or through video conferencing, regarding development and adoption of a comprehensive DEI
strategy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in diversity and inclusion consulting and/or a diversity and inclusion role to include theories, best practices, training and facilitation, and
client facing counsel
  • Experience with DEI specifically for entertainment, game development, STEM programs, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience building successful programs that address the unique needs of marginalized groups and/or Employee Resource Groups
  • Knowledge of leadership models, organizational development and performance management preferred
  • Ability to assess talent including identifying strengths and development needs
  • Ability to build consensus, influence management decisions, excellent conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Thinks strategically, with tactical execution
  • Experience in oral presentations to executive teams and Boards of Directors
  • Experience in training and facilitation for adult learners
  • Skill in developing policy and procedure documentation
  • Knowledge of DEI concepts and KPI measurements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • HR (SHRM/HRCI) certification preferred; CDP (Certified Diversity Professional) preferred Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • Certificates in D&I preferred
  • Seven (7) years within diversity and inclusion training and consulting and/or a diversity and inclusion role to include theories, best practices, training and facilitation, and client
facing counsel
  • Professional certification in Diversity and Inclusion
  • Experience in project management and related tools
  • Experience in DEI training
