Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment.
  • Collect and record patient health histories.
  • Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
  • Take and process x-rays.
  • Assist dentist chair-side during procedures.
  • Advise patients on oral hygiene and dental care.
  • Perform post-visit duties and support front desk staff as needed.
  • Interact positively with a diverse patient population.
  • Maintain patient records and administrative documentation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of dentistry procedures and infection control.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual in conversational Spanish/English.
  • Completion of Dental Assistant program/license.
  • Valid California Dental X-Ray license.
  • Experience in relevant Dental Assistant practices and protocols.
