Job Details

  • Instruct & Inspire – Lead engaging and interactive dental assistant classes.
  • Prepare & Assess – Develop lesson plans, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Utilize Learning Tools – Incorporate learning management systems and approved instructional materials.
  • Student Mentorship – Provide academic support, tutoring, and career guidance.
  • Record Management – Maintain accurate records of student progress, grades, and attendance.
  • Campus Engagement – Participate in faculty meetings, graduation events, and student activities.
  • Clinical Support – Assist in externship site visits and help students gain hands-on experience.

Skills You Need
  • Education & Experience – Diploma and post-secondary training in a licensed or accredited program.
  • Work Experience – At least three years of practical experience as a dental assistant.
  • Certifications – Expanded Function Dental Assistant Certification (Florida Radiology) or equivalent CDA/DANB -certification.
  • CPR Certification – Must have a current CPR card.
