We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Permanent Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic privately owned practice. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. You will be responsible for performing a variety of dental hygiene procedures to promote oral health, prevent disease, and maintain healthy teeth and gums. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough oral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
• Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance procedures
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instruction
• Take and develop dental radiographs
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Assist the dentist with dental procedures as needed
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dental hygiene and attend continuing education courses as required

Qualifications:

• Registered Dental Hygienist with current state licensure
• Injection certified- preferred not required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a dental hygienist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of dental software and technology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
