An established Building Automation/Integration company is looking for a Building Automation Systems Design Engineer to join our team in the Denver area. This position is responsible for engineering and designing commercial building automation systems.

Duties:

• Engineering and drafting building automation systems projects
• Interpret and comply with engineering contract plans and specifications
• Designing detailed and complex building automation controls systems for new and existing facilities
• Drafting and creating submittals
• Developing detailed parts lists for purchasing
• Drafting detailed controls drawings and wiring diagrams
• Assisting electricians, project managers, and programmers in the installation, programming and commissioning of controls systems

Requirements:

• Two- or Four-year degree in engineering, engineering technologies or related field OR relevant industry experience
• Experience in designing control systems for commercial HVAC applications
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and architectural construction documents
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, AutoCAD, VISIO are desired.
• Have an understanding of electrical circuitry, construction environments, and safe work practices
