- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
- Manage on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure project adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
- Manage material procurement and inventory
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports
- Resolve on-site issues and conflicts promptly and effectively
- Liaise with local authorities for necessary permits and inspections
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in multifamily or affordable housing projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Familiarity with green building practices and energy-efficient construction a plus
