We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Development Manager to join our team in the non-profit sector. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of improving lives and health outcomes by leveraging your skills in non-profit event planning, charitable donations, and grants. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategizing and executing fundraising initiatives, managing donor relations, and overseeing the development and implementation of strategic plans. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes non-profit events, charitable donations, and grants.
2. Collaborate with the senior management team to identify potential donors and build long-term relationships with them.
3. Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of fundraising events to ensure they meet and exceed fundraising goals.
4. Oversee the preparation and submission of grant proposals, ensuring they align with the organization's mission and objectives.
5. Manage and maintain a donor database, ensuring all donor information is accurate and up-to-date.
6. Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote fundraising events and initiatives.
7. Monitor and report on fundraising activities and progress towards goals to the senior management team.
8. Ensure all fundraising activities comply with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, non-profit event planning, and managing charitable donations and grants.
3. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies.
4. Excellent relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with donors.
5. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate the organization's mission and objectives to a diverse range of stakeholders.
6. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to fundraising activities.
8. Proficiency in using donor database software and other related software.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
10. Passion for improving lives and health outcomes through the work of our organization.
