Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to support maintenance and repair operations in Quincy, WA. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of both heavy equipment and fleet vehicles.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to identify potential problems
  • Repair or replace components including hydraulics, shocks, and struts
  • Perform tire service including mounting, balancing, and alignment
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs and fabrication
  • Maintain accurate service records, including repairs and parts used
  • Collaborate with team members to complete work orders efficiently
  • Operate forklifts and shop equipment as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong hands-on experience in diesel mechanics and heavy equipment repair
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience using diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  • Ability to fabricate parts and components as needed
  • Familiarity with tire service procedures, including mounting, balancing, and alignment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safe work practices
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional attitude with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members
  • Proven record of reliability, accountability, and consistent attendance

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work on-site in Quincy, WA
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements in accordance with company policy
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred
