We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of diesel trucks and other heavy-duty equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests on diesel engines using specialized equipment and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems.
  • Weld and fabricate parts to repair or replace damaged machinery.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
  • Order parts and equipment, which may include negotiating prices, obtaining quotes, and comparing products.

Job Details

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in diesel engine repair.

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of diesel engine mechanics and systems.

  • Experience with welding, fabricating, and electrical repairs is an asset.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
