Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Permanent Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, as well as experience working with heavy machinery. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy machinery, including hydraulic and mechanical components
• Conduct engine assessments and diagnostics to identify and troubleshoot issues
• Repair and replace faulty parts and electrical systems as needed
• Utilize computer knowledge to diagnose and repair engine issues
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining high quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
• Communicate effectively with other team members and management to ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner

Qualifications:

• ASE certification or equivalent experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
• Experience working with heavy machinery and hydraulic systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose engine issues
• Experience with engine assessment and diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to repair and replace faulty components
• Strong computer skills and ability to utilize diagnostic software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
