Job Details
- Follow company safety guidelines and requirements and proactively addresses any unsafe conditions observed.
- Determine nature of needed repairs for company tractors and trailers through accurate troubleshooting.
- Work with the fleet supervisor to properly prioritize work and complete within appropriate timelines.
- Adjust valves according to specifications and charge system with proper type of refrigerant by pumping the specified gas or fluid into the system.
- Test lines, components, and connections for leaks.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
- Repair and maintain Mechanical Equipment
- Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily based on mechanical principles.
- Make safety a top priority
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience on Diesel Truck and Tractor Repair
