A bit about us:
We are seeking a full-time professional to support our Finance department by maintaining our Finance Systems infrastructure and providing project management support for finance-related initiatives. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in the strategy, design, and implementation of financial and accounting reporting tools, data models, and data mapping within the Finance function. This role will be based in Durham, NC, with a hybrid work schedule requiring on-site presence three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Develop and maintain a service model plan for financial system management.
- Design and govern the change management process for finance systems.
- Coordinate projects, enhancements, and incident management for finance systems.
- Identify and implement software solutions to meet financial reporting needs.
- Lead the development of financial systems roadmaps and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to streamline data and process integrations.
- Lead initiatives for new and transformational financial systems and process enhancements.
- Enhance automation and reporting capabilities to drive efficiencies.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to identify user needs and process bottlenecks.
- Manage reporting tools, data feeds, and system integrations.
- Provide user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and end-user training.
- Oversee the configuration of reporting applications and ensure they meet business requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
- Collaborate with business leaders to redesign finance processes for greater agility and efficiency.
- Mentor and manage a team of 2-4 employees.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in business, finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience implementing/enhancing/supporting one or more ERP/EPM technologies with custom software solution development. Minimum 2 full cycle implementations of end-to-end Oracle Fusion ERP applications with focus on financials Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Assets, Project Accounting, Expenses and General Ledger
- Advanced technology skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling abilities.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
- 10+ years of relevant finance experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional teams or processes.
