Compensation: Base Salary + Car Allowance + Commission + Bonus

Job Details

The Director, Freight Forwarding Sales is a hands-on player/coach responsible for leading a regional sales team, driving new business development, growing strategic accounts, and expanding market share across the U.S. This role partners closely with leadership to execute growth strategies, increase revenue, and develop a high-performing sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of freight forwarding sales professionals.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute regional sales strategies.
  • Drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to penetrate key accounts through cross-selling and relationship building.
  • Improve sales effectiveness, win rates, and overall market performance.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales management experience.
  • Freight forwarding industry experience required.
  • Customer-focused with a track record of building long-term client relationships and delivering tailored solutions.
