Are you a Accounting professional leader with a knack for numbers, working with people and a passion for excellence? We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Director of Accounting. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the global accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards. You will also be responsible for the assisting in the implementation of accounting software, preparation for audits, and the management of both domestic and international payroll, as needed. As the director, you will play a vital role in financial reporting, budgeting, and month and year-end close processes.

- Oversee all global accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Implement and manage accounting software across the organization to streamline financial operations.
- Prepare for and facilitate audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage both domestic and international payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Lead financial reporting efforts, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
- Develop and manage the annual budget, tracking expenses and managing accounts payable.
- Oversee month and year-end close processes, ensuring all financials are accurate and complete.
- Manage intercompany accounting and multi-entity accounting, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of general ledger functions and financial reporting.
- Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Experience with global accounting and multi-entity accounting.
- Proven experience with accounting software implementation, preferably with Great Plains.
- Strong understanding of intercompany accounting.
- Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ability to prepare for and facilitate audits.
- Experience managing both domestic and international payroll.
- Strong financial reporting skills, with the ability to generate accurate and timely reports.
- Proficient in managing accounts payable and tracking expenses.
- Experience developing and managing an annual budget.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial information.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
