We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Director of Acute Care Services to join our team in the medical industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team of professionals in delivering high-quality acute care services to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of acute care services, including managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing best practices to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for acute care services that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the acute care services team, including nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and ensure high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Manage the budget for acute care services, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, and community partners.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Wyoming RN License or Compact Equivalent
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of progressive leadership and managerial experience.
  • Master's Degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and policies.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources.
  • Passion for providing high-quality patient care and improving outcomes.
