Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Director of Administration & Contracts to oversee all aspects of contract management, compliance, and administrative operations. This high-level leadership role will manage a small but dynamic administrative team, ensuring that contracts, licenses, and internal processes are handled with precision, efficiency, and full compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep contract management expertise, and the ability to streamline and elevate administrative functions for the company.

Contract Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and negotiation to execution, administration, and closeout.
- Maintain accurate contract records and ensure deadlines, obligations, and deliverables are met.
- Lead negotiations for complex and high-value contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, licensing requirements, legal regulations, and company policies.
- Proactively identify, assess, and address potential risks.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes for contract administration and company-wide administrative operations.
- Manage, mentor, and support a team of 4–5 administrative professionals.
- Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and foster professional growth.
- Support executive leadership with contract reviews, reporting, and compliance oversight.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, finance, and legal to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee and approve change orders and contract modifications, ensuring proper documentation and impact assessment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., NCMA CPCM) preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in contract management, administration, or operations (construction industry experience preferred, but not required).
- Strong knowledge of contract law, negotiation best practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a small team.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
