Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Permanent Director of Application Operations to join our team. This role will provide strategic direction and leadership for our application operations environment, overseeing several teams, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. The Director of Application Operations will be responsible for managing several teams of Engineers, developing new tools, and interacting directly with customers to solve issues and enhance the stability of the company's SaaS product suite. This role requires a deep understanding of software development (.NET/C#), a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to driving excellence for the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the application services department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
2. Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for the department in alignment with the company's overall goals.
3. Manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
4. Develop and implement new tools and technologies to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
5. Work directly with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of application services.
7. Monitor and analyze department performance and develop necessary reports for senior management.
8. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in technology.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
2. 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably working in a client facing product environment.
3. Proficient in .NET, C#, Angular, SQL, AWS and other relevant technologies.
4. Proven experience in team management and personnel management.
5. Strong experience in tool development and customer-facing roles.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and senior management.
9. Ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in technology.
