Are you a strategic compensation expert ready to build something from the ground up? We’re seeking a Director of Compensation & Job Architecture to lead the design and implementation of scalable compensation and job architecture frameworks across our U.S. operations. This is a newly created, high-visibility individual contributor role reporting directly to the SVP of HR. You’ll work closely with HR leadership and senior executives to modernize our total rewards structure, align pay with performance, and support the rollout of a new HCM system (Dayforce) going live in 2026.

What You’ll Do
- Design and implement comprehensive compensation structures, including base pay, bonus/incentives, and equity alignment.
- Create and roll out scalable job architecture frameworks including job leveling, titles, and career paths.
- Partner with HR leaders to evaluate and update job descriptions and salary ranges for all departments.
- Use compensation analytics and modeling to support annual merit reviews, pay equity, internal alignment, and strategic decision-
- Train and guide managers across the organization on new compensation frameworks and policies.
- Ensure all programs align with our Dayforce HCM implementation (go-live 1/1/2026).
- Collaborate with legal and HR teams to maintain compliance with compensation regulations across multiple states.
Your First 6–12 Months
- Draft and implement an updated enterprise-wide compensation plan.
- Audit, evaluate, and revise salary ranges across departments and job families.
- Lead and deliver manager training on new compensation practices and programs.
- Partner with HR to develop or refresh job descriptions and career frameworks for each location.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of progressive compensation experience, ideally supporting multi-location workforces (distribution, retail, or operations
- Proven expertise in job evaluation, market pricing, and salary band development.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, modeling); Power BI or similar tools a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with or preparing for HCM platform implementations (e.g., Dayforce, Workday).
- Bachelor’s degree required; CCP or CMS preferred. SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar certification is a plus
