We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Director of Emergency Department to join our medical industry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our emergency department and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care possible. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits packages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the emergency department
• Manage the staffing, scheduling, and training of emergency department personnel
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care provided by the emergency department staff
• Collaborate with other departments within the hospital to ensure seamless patient care
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care
• Manage the department budget and ensure financial performance targets are met
• Participate in hospital-wide committees and initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes
• Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and excellence in patient care

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Certifications: ACLS required upon hire
• Arizona State Registered RN License
• Minimum of 2 years experience in ED and at least 1 year in upper management acute care hospital setting
• 3 or more years of experience managing an ED in a critical care hospital with 150+ is preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and hospital leadership
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement initiatives
