Job Details
We are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead our Engineering and Drafting Departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and drafters, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Product Engineering and Drafting teams.
Oversee both new and existing product designs.
Ensure the timely delivery of error-free shop drawings and design packages.
Coordinate departmental efforts to support other teams, develop new products, and improve existing designs through efficient revision tracking.
Communicate project requirements and guide design adjustments with stakeholders.
Stay up to date on industry trends, technology, and best practices.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
B.S. in an Engineering field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with building materials, curtain walls, windows, composites, or sandwich panels is a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Proven problem-solving, project management, and decision-making abilities.
