Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Director of Facilities & Maintenance to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our facilities and maintenance operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our facilities are safe, efficient, and fully operational at all times. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance and facilities management plans that ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of all buildings and equipment.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities and maintenance teams, including planning and scheduling work, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality work and cost-effective solutions.
- Manage the budget for facilities and maintenance, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and that resources are allocated effectively.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to facilities and maintenance, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensure that all facilities are in compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced on a regular basis.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the facilities and maintenance teams, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities and maintenance management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including OSHA standards.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management software.
