Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and oversight for the planning, directing and coordination of all accounting, investment, banking, internal and external reporting, and operational activities.
- Develop and maintain the cost containment programs established
- Establish budget procedures to effectively allocate expenses among the various residual market entities.
- Participate in strategic planning and align department objectives with holistic organizational strategy.
- Responsible for the Department’s strategic initiatives; that includes budgeting, performance tracking, and strategic planning to achieve the organization’s current and long-term goals.
- Establish and maintain effective financial controls over the assets, liabilities, income, and disbursements to safeguard all assets.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with the contracts for management and services. This includes the preparation of certain annual statutory financial statements.
- Coordinate and supervise the Accounts Payable function.
- Establish and maintain appropriate controls on the laser printing of checks and signature plates.
- This role will be a strategic partner on the Senior Management Team and will serve as the successor to the Senior Director & Chief of Financial Operations, based upon effective performance.
