Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards
  • Oversee the budgeting process and provide guidance to department heads on financial planning and forecasting
  • Manage the revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and cash flow management
  • Prepare financial reports and provide analysis to the board of directors and senior management team
  • Manage the accounting team and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and oversee audits and tax filings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and vendors
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in nonprofit accounting and finance
  • Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards and regulations
  • Experience with budgeting and financial planning
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team and provide leadership and guidance
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
