As the Director of Finance, you will play a crucial role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of how to optimize financial resources for the business's growth and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
- Develop and implement the company's financial goals, objectives, and budgets in alignment with the overall strategic plan.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports, detailing company performance and forecasted projections.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flow.
- Manage the budgeting process, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of the budget to monitor progress and present financial metrics.
- Implement a robust financial management/reporting system to provide critical financial and operational information.
- Engage with the senior leadership team to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections.
- Evaluate and oversee all benefits negotiations, thus providing the most competitive packages for the company’s employees.
- Spearhead the development and implementation of effective financial strategies to enhance the company's financial performance and business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
- Exceptional knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methodologies.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to inspire performance with senior leaders.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
