The Director of Finance is a key leadership role within our healthcare organization. This position is responsible for the direct management and oversight of the finance, accounting, and billing departments, ensuring strategic alignment with the organization's objectives. The Director of Finance will oversee performance management for all departmental employees, assist with the development of departmental/division budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance for assigned departments. This role will also oversee the annual budget, year-end close, cash flow, treasury, budget planning, and forecasting and will be responsible for the revenue cycle management function. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct management of the finance, accounting, and billing departments, ensuring strategic alignment with the organization's objectives.
  • Oversee performance management for all departmental employees, including recognition, performance evaluations, formal coaching and counseling, and decision-making regarding necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Assist with the development of assigned departmental/division budgets, and monitor budget to ensure expenses do not exceed budget.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for assigned departments/divisions, and compliance with all workflows, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee the annual budget, year-end close, cash flow, treasury, budget planning, and forecasting.
  • Responsible for the revenue cycle management function, ensuring efficient and effective processes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven experience in performance management, budget development, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of financial operations, including annual budgeting, year-end close, cash flow, treasury, budget planning, and forecasting.
  • Experience in revenue cycle management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is a plus.
