We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Healthcare and Sciences to join our team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of healthcare and science projects in the construction industry. This role demands a unique blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and technical expertise in the field of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities:

As the Director of Healthcare and Sciences, you will:

1. Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of healthcare and science construction projects.
2. Collaborate with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
3. Utilize your expertise in Energy Star, Trane Trace, and eQuest to develop energy-efficient and sustainable construction solutions.
4. Oversee the implementation of these solutions to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
5. Conduct regular project reviews to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare and science sectors.
7. Stay abreast of industry advancements and integrate new technologies and methodologies into project designs to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
8. Provide leadership and guidance to your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Director of Healthcare and Sciences position should have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in healthcare and science projects.
2. Proven expertise in Energy Star, Trane Trace, and eQuest or equivalent energy efficiency and environmental sustainability tools.
3. A strong track record of successful project management, demonstrating excellent planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
5. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or additional certifications in energy efficiency or environmental sustainability would be an added advantage.
6. A deep understanding of the healthcare and science sectors, including the unique challenges and opportunities they present in the construction industry.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they escalate.
