Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Human Resources to join our healthcare clinic/human services group in Boston. The ideal candidate is a current HR Director with a strong background in healthcare. The role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a permanent position that offers competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Manage employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related issues, including performance management and employee development.
  • Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices to ensure the clinic remains competitive in the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
  • Current Experience as an HR Director
  • Experience Working in Healthcare ideal
  • -Non-profit / human services experience is ideal
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and managers.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus.
